Our first company, ProActive Consulting, was created in 2003 and since then, it gained a lot of experience in the corporate market. It stood out mainly for implementing PepleSoft, SAP and data centers with other business units that focused on the development of apps for PalmOS and Window Mobile.

In 2007, we made the decision of focusing our efforts in a new industry dedicated exclusively to the mobile development and we founded NativApps.

Now a day, we offer a wide range of tools and development services designed to help companies migrate their actual applications, to the new mobile environment. At the same time, we develop new applications that match perfectly both to the company and consumer needs and requests. We have a team of experienced developers in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, between others.

Our development process allows us to write the code once for a particular platform, and then export it to another mobile platform in the industry, minimizing in this way the investment per platform, as well as the migration, support and update costs for our customers.

Our company develops native applications for mobile platforms in an effective, fast and reliable way. Our team of experienced programmers has the capacity of executing projects of any size in a short amount of time, significantly reducing the time designated from our clients to launch their product to the market.

Our development center is located in the city of Cartagena, Colombia. We develop the backend and applications for any given platform using HTML5, JS, CSS, JQuery, Bootstrap and Phonegap.

NativApps Blog – Our CEO Vision & Comments…

Adding Value To Our World With Augmented Reality (AR)

As entrepreneurs, developers or IT geeks, we need to think about add real value to our customers using AR in our apps. This is not a feature that you can use only in your “marketing” apps.

Wikipedia tell us a definition for Augmented reality (AR): is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.

Today, most of apps are using AR as a feature for “marketing” apps. I really love these apps, – watch this video: BAND-AID® Magic Vision – it is so good, but we need to move forward and bring AR apps to our daily basis activities.

As a brand, it’s fine a video promoting your products when a user pointing the logo with the app, but will be better if when the user pointing your product, you give him more info about it like calories or recipes for food, place to shop for hardware or videos “how to use” for instructions.

How about an app that helps you to know what companies or offices are in a specific building?.
